Flash Milla has been surrounded by music for as long as he can remember. By the time he was thirteen, he was recording finished songs and trying to make a career out of music.
Unfortunately, it was impossible for him to invest in his craft at that age. A few years later though, the young man caught the attention of more prominent artists and creatives, who supported him with mentorship and studio time.
In those early years, he was recording as much as possible and was performing at live shows. However, he still wasn’t as dedicated as he hoped to be.
Adversities kept the artist from fully focusing on his dream, so he took a brief hiatus. Now that he’s back, he’s more passionate than ever about his music and is prepared to create the career he’s always wanted.
In 2021, he released “Medusa,” a drill-inspired track that showcases the artist’s versatile flows. The song is conceptual, discussing how a woman, Medusa, turned his “heart into stone.”
Production on the song includes warping 808’s, scattered hi-hats and aggressive drums. Still, Flash finds different pockets to rap in and flexes his natural ability as a writer.
The song’s music video, directed by Lighter Juice, is a cinematic piece that’s fun and intriguing. The storyline follows a Medusa-like character as she turns men into stone. However, there are also plenty of cut scenes that show Flash Milla jamming out to the single with the entire crew.
